Hello fans of the show – at 83 the great Jon Hassell is struggling to pay his massive (American) medical bills. As Daniel Patrick Quinn puts it “This is just more evidence that the USA has few grounds on which to call itself a developed country” – I’d add that people should realise that without their public health service they or their family might be bankrupted by illness.
